There were many more than 50 MKVII made. The CIA supposedly contracted some with magna-ported barrels but I've never seen any actual paper for any of these guns. I'm sure that agents probably bought some on there own at some point. I have had 2 different MKVII and I would find it hard to believe that I had 2 of only 50 guns made. Hope this helps!
