Hi- I'm thinking of putting together a pistol based on the Essex frame available from Numrich. (Ok, it's winter in New Hampshire, and I'm bored...) Does anyone have experience fitting a Commander slide to the Essex frame ? Anything to watch for ? I've used the Essex frame to build a couple of full-sized .45s in the past, but this is just a little different. Thanks-nice to see the activity at this site.
