That Detonics is a carbon steel model, likely produced in the last days of the Seattle/Bellevue factory. It is likely a Mk I or a Mk IV, depending on whether the sides of the slide are polished or matte. (And if it's got a fixed rear sight, or an adjustable one).
Either way, it's likely to be well de-bugged. (Assuming that no "kitchen table gunsmiths" have been hacking on it).
I'd recommend that you test fire the gun, if you can, with Winchester 185 grain Silvertips before you purchase it. If it runs with those, you'll be OK.
