The dovetail is the same spec as Colt/1911. However, you'll generally need a taller sight than a standard 1911A1 model...unless you want to sight in for ~150 yds. (:

Something like the King's sight mentioned by RickB might be just right.

Note for fitting; if it won't go into the dovetail (check from both sides):
- first make sure that the lower edges of the dovetail aren't too sharp; they need to have at least as much radius/bevel as the inside corners of the slide dovetail.
- if that problem's resolved, judiciously remove material from the bottom of the sight until you can get it into the dovetail. (Make sure to refresh the radius/bevel as you go!)
