I have just purchased my first Detonics 45 Combat Master S/N CR17XXX. Has anyone had any problems with the firing pin stop dropping down and holding the slide open? Mine did three times after approximately 125 plus rounds of different manufactures and bullet wts. I took the gun back to where I purchased it and they chamfered the firing pin hole on the back side of the firing pin stop. They also replaced the firing pin spring. I have not been back to the range to see if that is the fix. I have established one thing for sure, that COR-BON's P+ 185 grain loads are violent and hard on the gun and me. No more! I think I'll stay with standard factory loads. The gun carries well and shoots extremely well except for the COR_BON loads.
