Well, buying something like a gun on the internet is a bit riskier than in person, but I have purchased 5 Combat Masters from gunsamerica.com and returned 2 of them. The process is pretty simple, and the worst thing you have to deal with is people rating their guns too high. If you aren't satisfied, gunsamerica has a policy of 3 days to return the pistol - which sucks if you are subject to a waiting period, but you can still do a good inspection at your dealer's place. I'd say that if you don't live in an area with several Detonics pistols for sale (I've heard the Seattle area is like this) then online is almost certainly your best bet. The problem is that Detonics pistols are so nice and rare that owners don't usually want to part with them.
