Just want to give you an update on the New Detonics CM I bought last month. Anyway, I went to the target range last Saturday(01/29/05) and was extremely excited to test the Detonics. I shot a Colt .45 Series 80 a couple years back owned by a friend of mine and since the Detonics and Colt seems was made pretty close if not the same, I was very ecstatic. Needless to say, the excitement was replace with a lot of frustration and confusion. The first six rounds shot great with a great grouping (they're pretty close (about 4 inch in diameter group) considering this is my first time at the range again after 2 years). The CM shoot great no complains but, after the six rounds, the gun jams every 3rd shot after that. All in all I shot about 50 rounds then in frustration, I just pack my bag and went home wondering what could I have done to lessen the the problem. Oh.. I was using a Remington .45 acp Automatic 230 gr. MC. I am planning to Disassemble the CM and thoroughly clean it up then try to shoot it again this weekend. Anybody have any idea what's going on? And any suggestions? Also, anybody knows of a good.. I mean Good Detonics gunsmith around the seattle/Renton/Bellevue area?
