In Response To: is it matte blue or polished? does the serial have (a prefix? when you look at the muzzle do you see)

Matte blue
Serial # is C21XXX
I'm not sure what you mean by a separation, there are visiable gaps to the left and right of where the barrel touches the bushing. and the top of the barrel at the muzzle does not appear to touch the slide above.
PAT PEND does not appear anywhere on the gun.
