I believe the short-butted pistols from STI have the same length as the CM. It might be possible to use their mainspring housing + internals and grip safety. You might also be able to use a Colt OACP mainspring housing, and cut-down grip safety of your choice. Or, use a grip safety for the Para P-10, and cut-down the mainspring housing.
