Small world, Rich; I grew up in Gig Harbor, living there until 1982. A shooting buddy of mine has a Combat Master .45/.451 with an interesting story. His father ordered the gun, and when it was delivered, he took note that the serial number was a row of zeroes followed by 45. Apparently, the gun was not supposed to be sold, as the 45 serial number had already been claimed, or was to be retained by the company. The guy offered to return the gun in exchange for number 451, which my acquaintance still has.
