I carry my MKVII everyday and shoot a mag about once a week. I have been using Hydrashocks for the last 2 years and before that was using Corbon. The corbon is fairly nasty to shoot and I don't know if it's that much better to justify the beating of the gun and your hand. I have a 451 mag barrel for the same gun but with lack of factory loaded ammo I really can't use it for a carry. In the classes I teach we instruct people to use ONLY factory loaded ammo for a carry gun because of liabilty reasons.
