I thought I'd let you know that I paid $450 for the piece and it is an Essex frame and seems well built and compares well with my MKIV that I own already! The slide is marked Detonics .45 on the left side, it also came with the Detonics gun rug and 2 Detonics .45 a.c.p magazines that are identical with the ones that came with my MKIV that I bought years ago, pouch is also same. Fit is tight and and in a "dry" run it feels like a new gun that needs a break in! Thanks for your input!! Let me know of anything else that you may know! I am quite new to Detonics other than the piece I have carried for sometime.
