Apparently the headgunsmith at Detonics USA had to put a lot of work into both a Scoremaster and a Sevicemaster that came out of the "New Detonics" plant in Phoenix, AZ. He mentioned stuff like "low shoulders that wouldn't let the barrels lock up consistently" and other technical jargon. (Somehow, the low shoulder thing affected accuracy... go figure). Other stuff was done to get functional reliability. He had to replace one of the magazines, along with some small parts too. He covered about everything from the lockwork to the extractors. Several hours of labor were required for each pistol. The sights were left alone, however. He says they both work now though, so the things are obviously salvageable.
Hope this helps, ...Deeton
