I recently purchased a MK VII, the gun appears to be in great shape, but I'm having a problem with the slide cycling so fast that is isn't picking up rounds in the magazines. I replaced the recoil springs with a new Detonics USA triple spring, and the factory magazines I'm using don't appear to have weak springs. Does any body have any suggestions on what to do? Has anyone had a similar problem?

I was thinking of putting a new mainspring in thinking that a little more pressure on the hammer would slow the slide down enough. Any help anyone could offer would be greatly appreciated.
