Start with better mags. I use shooting stars. Some people love wilson and Novak makes a good mag. I use the shooting stars cause I get them for $16 and have never had a problem. For a factory length mag, invest in a real Detonics marked "DETONICS 45 ACP" anything else is bad news. Or at least I've NEVER had good luck with anything else. I does sound like you have a mag problem.
