Thanks for the interesting history lesson. I enjoyed reading about Central Guns and it really brought back some memories. I'm pretty sure the name used to be Central Loan. My dad was a good friend of Saul, the owner. He and I would always stop in when we went downtown and Saul & my dad would chew the fat for a while. A lot of police would frequent the shop, including the Chief.

I always remember the large brass Gatling gun on display. I bought one of my first pistols from Saul, a Walther PP in .380 ACP. My Dad bought a matching PPK. I later traded the Walther in (still at Central) on a S&W Model 60 - one of the first year issue. I still have that piece.
