I'd like a new guide rod, too. It is the only part on my gun that is showing undue wear, and it is also the only part that is neither readily available nor easily converted from other "1911" parts. Someone emailed me a couple of months ago, asking how much I'd pay for a repro rod, as he was thinking of making new ones. Maybe we'll hear from him.
