The dovetail is the same as Colt, so a Bomar should fit. If an MMC snags on stuff, don't you suppose the much larger/sharper Bomar will, too? I saw a Combat Master with a Millet sight installatin, that while not especially aesthetic, did seem to solve some of the snagging problem. Because the sight is designed to hang over the rear edge of a 1911 slide, it closes the gap between the sight and the slide, unlike the MMC which just protrudes straight to the rear.
