I'm in the process of buying a New Detonics Scoremaster. It comes with a couple of hundred rounds, but then I'll have to start handload.
.45 ACP bullets are sometimes available in different diameters, .451 or .452, for best accuracy, which should I use?
Does SWC bullets feed reliably or should I go with RN or TC bullets?
Since I want both flat trajectory and low recoil (at least for field target where the range can be up to 70 m and times short) 185 grain bullets seem like a good idea, but are they accurate up to 70 m or is it smarter to go with 200 grain? (I would prefer not to use different loads for field target and precision at 25 m partly since the latter is a way to ensure the reliability for the former.)
