Thanks to you folks I worked out the reassembly bug I had. Took the Combatmaster to Massad Ayoob's LFI 2 course and used it on the last day. Only had one factory mag and took a couple of surplus GI mags for reloads. only FTF was in sliding teh slide forward slowly, no FTF while shooting and the GI Mags somehow worked well and as usual gave a decent finger grip. although I didn't feel any difficulty in using the factory 6 ROund.

Nice gun, recoil reasonable and now onto more accurate shooting.

What is the best IWB Holster have you found? The one Bianchi I was able to use was for a 1911 but the forward rear sight hangs up on the holster. Hate to cut it.
