What you have is an electro-less nickel plated Detonics. I have one just like it, including the 'I' prefix in the serial number, but minus the markings on the barrel. I don't have access to the company production records, but mine is the only one I've ever seen, and yours is the only other one I've ever heard of. Suspect they're fairly scarce.
