Howdy
Also don't forget that Detonics is making guns again. When Para first came out with the LDA they had some problems but it seems that they have fixed them. The main problem I have with Para's is that they are not finished. Open one up and you have to be careful that you don't cut yourself on the machined edges that are left unpolished. I carry my MKVII that I paid $750.00 for everyday and I think for the quality it is a BARGAIN! For the money, how can you go wrong getting a slightly used Detonics that was completely hand fitted? To buy a new gun at the same level of quality you would pay double at least. Make sure you are sitting down when you get prices from some custom shops, and don't ever expect to be able to sell a custom gun for what you have into it.
Hope this helps..
