Your best bet might be to get a slide and bull barrel w/feed ramp that will fit your CM. I am pretty sure that commander length slides work, but cant give you any specific manufacturers that work best as I dont know. You can probably pick up a SS slide and barrel for about $100. I am sure it will be stripped and wouldnt count on any parts swap overs, but why would you want to. They are cheap because so many little companies out there try and get into the expensive, and overly competetive realm of 1911 manufacturing. Once these companies go tits up we get the pickings.
