I have a Mark V that does not want to stay open on the last shot. I have tried 3 factory mags and numerous 7 rounders. I have tried light loads and heavy loads. Upon racking the slide, it always stays open and the stop goes full depth up the recess. It work better if I get a 2 handed death grip on the gun, as if the the recoil speed of the gun snapping up and back causes the the mass of the slide stop to stay down. Maybe the slide bounces off the frame so fast that the slide stop does not have time to go up? The worst part is when it just gets high enough to peen the lower edge of the slide stop recess. By the way,I have put 850 rounds through it and this is the only problem.

Anybody else have this happen?
