The post I saw was written by a guy who goes by White Coyote on the 1911 forum.
I have no interest in trying to bash 1911s or Detonics. I love way the little beasts look and feel. I used to think that the sun rises and sets on the 1911, but over the last 25 years, I think that there are more reliable designs available or maybe I have the bad vodoo with 1911s only...

I WANT to get a Detonics USA, I am just waiting to hear from somebody first hand that it has never missed a beat, and try to buy theirs!
