Sounds like a Colt barrel. It wouldn't work in a CM without a "coned sleeve" added on, though. No Colt-made barrels lock-up directly to the slide, so it would have to be modified in that way to suit the CM. My factory barrel has no markings, other than the serial number scratched into the lower flat.
