My gun has been very reliable, as long as I keep fresh springs in it. The slide cycles very fast, and a strong mag spring helps in two ways: The upward pressure on the top cartridge slows the slide somewhat, and it ensures that the round will be presented properly to the slide. I've been buying "extra power" springs for the OACP, and cutting them to length for the Combat Master. Recoil springs become noticeably shorter after as few as 500 rounds, so I change those frequently, too. I like the King's OACP spring set.
