I have three CMs and they have all been very reliable. I agree with rick on the spring issue. I have had good luck with a ISMI flat recoil spring, it may rub on the inside of the gun due to the smaller detonics guide but so far(about 1100rnds) it does seem to cause any problems and it lasts a LONG time. I have a 38super CM that is not nearly as pleasant to shoot as the 45s.
