I carry the same ammo in all my 1911s, the original Winchester 230grn. "Black Talons", bought lots of it when it was available and have found it to be an excellent performer. FWIW, the new LEO "Ranger" rounds are similar performers and are avaiable for purchase to civilians. Anything carried by LEOs is a good choice, IMO.
