Notes: Any boat and engine configurations that are not represented for two
consecutive seasons will be eliminated from the class for the next season.
1. As an alternative to the 470 CID Production Engine, a 510 CID Inboard
Production Engine configuration is allowed. They are limited to a Holley
series 4150 not to exceed 750 CFM. No modifications are allowed to other than
basis tuning components such as jets and pumps. Removal of the airhorn is
allowed. Factory fuel injection is allowed as it conforms to the Inboard
Production Rule #14.
2. As an alternative to the 470 CID Inboard Modiied Engine, a 510 CID Inboard
Production engine configuration may be used with a 10.5:1 maximum compression
ratio and an intake manifold and carburator spacer which conforms to Inboard
Rule #2. The rest of the engine must conform to the Production Inboard engine
catagory. Factory fuel injection is allowed as it conforms to the Inboard
Production Rule #14.
3. Not subject to a 1.4 CID penalty for super or turbo-charging.
* 28 foot boats that competed in the 1994 APBA season are grandfathered for
the 1994 season boat owner through the 1996 season.
** D-911 and D-666 are grandfathered in with the 33' minimum vee bottoms with
maximum 1150 CID race catagory engines.
Since this was originally posted APBA has eliminated the Superboat Class.
