Philip and Karen Semel are new to APBA and SBR offshore racing this year. As rookies they have done very well by consistently placing in the top four of all the races they have entered this season. As a new team Karen and Philip have been exposed to the full immersion technique of racing as they, like several other teams on the circuit, are the only members and backers of the team. Phil and Karen pride themselves in the fact that they have been able to break into the sport in such a big way, while literally "doing it all" when it comes to keeping up the boat. Look for them at a race near you.
