OK, you guys hit a sore spot with me on Olympic Arms/ Safari/SGW. I know thi has nothing to do with the pistol, But I would stay away from them too. If your gonna spend money on a .45 then put that $$ your thinking of spending on an Olympic/Safari toward a Kimber, another Detonics or Colt! After I personally saw what kind of CRAP SGW/ Olympic Arms sent into California during the big gun scare of 89, I will NEVER buy from that company again. I was an FFL dealer for many years here in the commie republic of California, placed a BIG order of AR 15's from them, not only did it take months to recieve, they shipped ALL seconds into the state to fill demand. Needless to say, 99% of thgem are CRAP. Uppers and lowers didn't match, parts out of spec, holes drilled off etc. etc. Malfunctions, jams etc. etc.If you have one of these, I would suggest you dump it! You will know if you have one by the serial # starting with 'C'. Thats to let the manufacturer know it was built in 89 and DUMPED in California. These ARE SECONDS, and NOT very dependable. I wouldn't trust my life with it. Moral to this story, Buy name brand!
Sorry to go off, now I will go back to normal..
