oh, by the by now that i've had a cup of coffee-1. your ffl probably isn't an attorny or paralegel and they probably don't read the laws the way they should-like i do as a paralegal-go ahead and cross a state line with the intent to sell a firearm and see how you like you cellmates. you are not an ffl-you will go down for conspiracy along with the buyer and dealing without a licence and several other 10/10 felonies.
2. my 'career' choice told me that without 1/2 to 3/4 of a million to sqaunder in court it was financialy prudent to give up the ffl. it was a third job. i'm an rn and paralegal.
3. the more i read your posts the more i also realize you are the type of person i used to ignore at gunshows and in the shop. i didn't want your money. as for making a living and transfer fee's-legal tranfers are legal money. but some people just make you say 'no i don't do that'.

go call a batf inspector or agent and give them your scenario about crossing state lines to do a 'face-to-face' and see what they tell you. they may not be as polite as i since they trace all calls, including cell calls.
